Despite the final months of the year lacking the anticipated return of Conor McGregor, a prominent figure in mixed martial arts, or a bout featuring Ilia Topuria, the UFC is still committed to mesmerising fans before 2024.

The new year will mark the highly awaited UFC 300 event, but before that they are delivering an action-packed conclusion to 2023.

The already announced heavyweight clash between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic for the championship belt will be joined by three more title fights.

Whilst his momentum may have slowed somewhat since 2021, Israel Adesanya remains one of the UFC's biggest stars at this moment, and he is scheduled to take on Sean Strickland in a middleweight title bout on Saturday.

Max Holloway spectacularly knocked out Chan Sung Jun at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, forcing the retirement of the 'Korean Zombie,' who left UFC Fight Night Singapore to a standing ovation.

The knockout came in the third round of the featherweight division fight, where despite the aggressiveness of the Korean Zombie, he was connected with a brutal right hand that ended his aspirations.

The fight was hotly contested from the start, with Max punishing the South Korean with kicks, who closed the distance and connected in the face of "Blessed' Holloway, who did not stay with his arms crossed, moved away from the danger represented by his rival and took the rhythm of the fight to impact with the jab and kicks to the chest of Chan Sung Jung.
