Kim Kardashian continues her rigorous journey to become a lawyer, frequently updating her fans on her progress. The 43-year-old reality star, businesswoman, and mother of four has been particularly vocal about her challenges with hearsay exceptions in her law studies. Sharing her frustration on Instagram, she wrote, "I can't deal with all these f***ng hearsay exceptions! My least favorite subject in law school."
Kim's legal aspirations began in 2018 when she started a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm, focusing on criminal justice reform. Despite initially failing the "baby bar" exam three times, she passed it in 2021, marking a significant milestone in her unconventional path to becoming a lawyer. Reflecting on her achievement, she said, "Know this wasn't easy or handed to me... I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey... but it was my only option."
Her commitment to the law is also a tribute to her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., a high-profile attorney. Kim noted, "He would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner. He would have been my biggest cheerleader!"
Kim's legal journey has also piqued the interest of Ryan Murphy, creator of "American Horror Story," who praised her acting debut on the show saying "You were really, really good to the point where they called me and were like, 'Do you think Kim would want to do her own show?' " Murphy even pitched a new series idea where "Kim is the world's best, most expensive divorce lawyer, and she has her own firm and the thing about her firm is it's an all-female firm." Kim, who has been divorced three times, quipped, "I have some experience" in the field.
Murphy humorously suggested they might need to "build a sound stage outside" her home due to her busy schedule, which includes law school, her reality show, and her businesses. Kim remains optimistic about having more time post-2025 after taking the bar exam, potentially allowing her to balance her multifaceted career with her new legal ambitions.
