"Whenever I see him, I get really happy," Condor, 27, told PEOPLE exclusively at the 33rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party in West Hollywood, California, on Sunday.
Reflecting on their reunions, she shared, "When we catch up, it's always, 'What have you been up to?' We try to fit so much into such a short amount of time." The two were recently spotted together at the SAG Awards Spotlight Dinner on February 18.
Centineo, 28, who played Peter Kavinsky in the beloved 2018 Netflix adaptation and its sequels P.S. I Still Love You and Always and Forever, starred alongside Condor, who portrayed Lara Jean Song-Covey. The hit film series is based on Jenny Han's bestselling young-adult novels.
Condor revealed that she and Centineo "recently found out" they now live in the same city, which hadn't been the case before. "So we're trying to hang out more," she said, before playfully hinting at a possible on-screen reunion: "I keep asking, 'When are we going to work together again?'"
Centineo, currently starring in the spy series The Recruit, has expressed interest in returning to romantic comedies. In January, he told PEOPLE, "I do want to go back to romance." He also reprised his role as Peter Kavinsky in the XO, Kitty spinoff series, admitting that stepping back into the beloved franchise was "extremely scary."
Meanwhile, Condor, who tied the knot with longtime partner Anthony De La Torre last October, also opened up about their relationship at the Oscars after-party. She shared their key rule for a strong marriage: "Never go to bed angry with each other—which is easier said than done."
Condor recently starred in the action-thriller Valiant One and has upcoming projects including Ballerina Overdrive and Worth the Wait. XO, Kitty Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
