Kim Kardashian recently reacted to the Taylor Swift-themed birthday cake that her close friend Ivanka Trump presented to her daughter, Arabella. On July 17, Ivanka, 42, shared images on Instagram of Arabella's 13th birthday celebration, featuring a cake inspired by Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" music video.

The cake, adorned with the lyric "Boys only want love if it's torture," drew attention given Kardashian's ongoing feud with Swift. Despite this, Kardashian, 43, commented on the post, writing, "Happy Birthday Arabella 🤍," and liked the photos.

Ivanka, who has been friends with Kardashian for over a decade, expressed her joy over her daughter's milestone in the Instagram post. She described the cake as "the best cake for my favorite Swiftie" and reflected on her daughter's growth, saying, "Happy 13th birthday to my incredible daughter, Arabella! Watching you grow into a teenager feels like a dream."

'Your beautiful singing and piano playing, our unforgettable horseback riding adventures, the strength and commitment you show in your Brazilian jiu-jitsu practice and our special girls-only date nights are moments I will forever cherish. Arabella, you inspire and amaze me every day. You are a remarkable young woman and my heart overflows with love for you. Happy Birthday!" Ivanka said.

The choice of a Taylor Swift-themed cake is notable given the longstanding tension between Kardashian and Swift, which began in 2016 over a controversial lyric in Kanye West's song "Famous." Swift claimed that the song's lyrics, which referenced her, were not approved by her, despite Kardashian's claims to the contrary. This feud escalated with Swift's release of the album "Reputation" in 2017, which responded to the controversy.

Some fans were however not pleased with the choice of theme with one commenting, "Wait a minute why is the Trump family promoting Taylor Swift when she spoke out so vehemently against Donald Trump? She literally despises him!"

Kim and Ivanka have been seen together at various events and have collaborated on social issues, including prison reform.
