On Thursday, July 25, the 49-year-old talk show host revealed on The Tonight Show that his book club, the Fallon Book Club, will be reading The God of the Woods by Liz Moore. "We're all gonna read this book together," Fallon said, adding that he would share his reading progress on social media. Fans are encouraged to share their thoughts using the hashtag #FallonBookClub.

Earlier this week, Fallon announced the final round of voting for his book club. Viewers could vote online from a selection of books, including Margo's Got Money Troubles by Rufi Thorpe, The Last Murder at the End of the World by Stuart Turton, You Are Here by David Nicholls, I Was A Teenager Slasher by Stephen Graham Jones, and The Paris Novel by Ruth Reichl.

"I'm so excited to share The God of the Woods with Tonight Show viewers," Moore told PEOPLE. "I hope they'll enjoy it this summer (on the beach or in the woods)!"

Fallon launched his book club in 2018, and it is not limited to summertime reading. Earlier this year, the book club returned for March Madness, where viewers voted for the book they wanted to read alongside Fallon in a bracket-style tournament. Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra was the winner.

On July 18, Fallon celebrated his 2,000th episode of The Tonight Show, which he has hosted since 2014. He was joined by announcer Steve Higgins and the show's band, The Roots, and was presented with a Tonight Show-inspired cake topped with the show's logo and the New York City skyline. "2,000 shows! We've conquered quantity, next mountaintop: quality," Fallon told PEOPLE of the milestone.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights on NBC at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT.
