Norwegian journalist Kjersti Flaa, 51, recently posted a clip of an 'uncomfortable' chat that she had with the Gossip Girl alum, Blake Lively back in 2016 - and it went viral, sparking immense backlash for Blake. The journalist reveals that after her interview with Lively, she felt “terrified” to speak to other celebrities.
After Flaa congratulated Lively on her pregnancy, Lively fired back by telling her, “I like your little bump.” The reporter later made it known that she is infertile, therefore making Lively's comments insensitive.
“To be honest with you, it took me a while to actually get over it,' she shared in a new video uploaded to her YouTube account this week. “It affected me for a while, [I was] nervous when I was interviewing other people after that. I blamed myself for it for a long time because I felt like I did or said something wrong. So that's the reason why I waited so long [to post it].”
She went ahead to compare her interaction with Lively to that of fellow actress, Kristen Stewart. “ I want to shout out Kristen Stewart, who was the person I interviewed after the horrific incident,' she continued. “She was the most wonderful person to interview. She saved my day. I was terrified walking into that interview because I had just experienced what I had, so for her to just like treat me [so kindly]...”
Flaa referred to Stewart as “sweet” and expressed how happy she was with the interview. Flaa revealed that the main reason she shared the interview was to shed light on how certain celebrities behave and the importance of calling them out. “It's not okay to behave like that and I think it needs to be called out,” she stated. She claims that her interaction with Lively almost made her quit her job.
