The 38-year-old made her TikTok debut on August 21 by holding the adorable French bulldog puppy in her hands and lip-syncing to her new song, "Die With a Smile," featuring Bruno Mars.
The tri-colored Frenchie has bright brown eyes with eyebrow-shaped dots over them and a dark gray body. The little beauty's identity remained a mystery to Gaga, whose true name is Stefani Germanotta; however, she did include a simple snowflake emoji in the video's title.
In the video, the Joker: Folie a Deux actress also debuted her recently altered appearance. Sporting a vivid blue eyeshadow, bright red lipstick, and black hair, she looked a lot like Harley Quinn.
Dylan Mulvaney said in the comments, "Need to meet them immediately," to which Gaga retorted, "Our new queen."
French bulldogs and Gaga have a long history together. She also owns a fawn-colored cutie named Koji, an all-black Frenchie named Miss Asia, and a white puppy with black spots named Gustav.
Even though the Grammy winner used to frequently highlight her pets on social media, that all changed in 2021 after Ryan Fischer, her friend and dog walker, was shot by criminals who had taken Koji and Gustav, the singer's two cherished canines.
In a statement at the time, Gaga said, "My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago." She also offered a $500,000 reward for the safe return of the canines. "My heart aches, and I pray that a kind deed will bring my family back together."
Two days later, the dogs were given back, and Fischer recovered from his injuries following several months in the hospital. Following the dog napping incident, five people were taken into custody, including James Howard Jackson, the one who shot Fischer, who was later sentenced to 21 years in prison in December 2022.
In a statement he later shared on Instagram, Fischer said, "I suddenly found myself fighting with everything I had to protect those dogs from being stolen." Fischer made this statement during the lawsuit. However, it was insufficient as I was subjected to beatings, strangulations, and gunshots and ultimately left to expire on a pavement, gasping for air. Gustav and Koji had also left."
Years after the incident, Fischer provided an update on his mental health in January, stating that PTSD was still a problem for him.
He posted on Instagram, saying, "Life became almost impossible to navigate." "As I continue to develop tools to take me out of that fear and place me into the present, I am so happy to look at how I continue to heal."
