Savannah Chrisley is providing an insight into her mother's relationship. The star of Growing Up Chrisley revealed an email she got from Julie Chrisley, who is incarcerated at the moment due to her 2022 conviction for bank fraud and tax evasion.

As shown in a screenshot uploaded to Instagram Story on August 21, Savannah messaged Julie the words to CeCe Winans's song "Be Still and Know." In response, the matriarch replied, "Sav, thank you for sending this."

Julie said, "Love you always, Mama."

Savannah also gave further updates regarding her mother, whose original seven-year sentence was reversed in June due to an error made by the trial judge in the 2022 trial, according to a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Additionally, she updated her viewers on Julie's case by stating in a different Instagram Story that the 51-year-old's request to use Zoom to attend an upcoming court hearing for the resentencing was turned down.

In the tweet from August 21, she stated, "It is VERY customary to attend via Zoom when you are in prison."

What happens, therefore, if Julie is unable to connect with her hearing virtually? "My mother will be shackled and transported for the next month...plane...bus...etc. with..." said Savannah.

Noting that she's not sure when she'll be able to speak to Julie again, the Chrisley Knows Best alum added, "This punishment does not fit the alleged crime."

Savannah's update comes a month after she spoke of the touching moment she was granted custody of her brother Grayson, 18, and niece Chloe, 11, after Julie and her father Todd Chrisley were sentenced to 12 years in prison each for their convictions of tax evasion and bank fraud.

"I was granted custody of my sister and brother," Savannah recalled on July 16 during the Republican National Convention. "And you don’t know heartache until you look two children in the eyes and say, ‘I don’t know when mom and dad are coming home.’"

Although it was a difficult experience, the 26-year-old found some positives in becoming the primary caregiver for Todd and Julie's adopted children, Grayson and Chloe, who were adopted in 2016.
