When the 40-year-old thought back on seeing her 6-year-old daughter True Thompson off to her first day of first grade, she did not filter her thoughts. Every time True begins a new school year, her emotions are on such an emotional rollercoaster. First grade is a major turning point for her this year, Khloe posted on Snapchat on August 26. "I have to admit, I'm finding it quite difficult to accept the fact that she is starting first grade."
While Khloe expressed her pride in her and her ex-partner Tristan Thompson's oldest child, she also acknowledged that reaching this milestone is accompanied by "this strange mixture of loss, anxiety, and fear."
The founder of Good American said, "There's this undeniable feeling that I'm losing parts of who she was with each day that passes." "New pieces that will make up the next tiny amazing person she will become are replacing the little parts of who she used to be. I also miss her. Every tiny version of the person I knew in the past. I'm reminded to completely cherish each minute and take it all in by this new school year because time seems to be passing by more quickly every year.
But despite all this change, Khloe, who also shares son Tatum Thompson, 2, with Tristan, gushed over the little kid True has grown into.
“She is more than I could ever have dreamed of in a daughter,” she continued. “Seeing her grow makes me excited for the years and experiences ahead.”
Khloe surprised her child with a rainbow balloon arch and a huge sculpture of rainbow-colored crayons to appropriately celebrate True's first day of school.

"First Class! Indeed, I'm quite proud of you. The caption on Khloe's Instagram image from August 27. "I have no doubt that you will have the most amazing year ever! My angel, I am very happy for you. I won't be okay, but I'll be alright by pickup time.
