Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom turned heads with their stylish and coordinated looks at the premiere of Bloom's movie The Cut during the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 5. The couple, known for their bold fashion choices, made a striking red carpet appearance, showcasing their love and impeccable style.

Perry, 39, stunned in a black CELINE by Hedi Slimane ensemble, featuring a bandeau bra and high-waisted skirt made of double silk satin, topped with an embroidered veil. Her edgy look was elevated with a sleek high bun, micro-bangs, and bold makeup, including dramatic smokey winged eyeliner and matte brown lipstick. She kept her accessories simple, opting for geometric silver drop earrings.

Bloom, 47, complemented Perry's daring look with a modern black tuxedo and mock turtleneck, allowing his fiancée to shine. The couple's coordinated outfits highlighted their strong connection and shared sense of style.

Their red carpet appearance came shortly after Perry opened up about their past split in 2017. Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Sept. 4, the American Idol judge revealed that their relationship didn't take off immediately when they first met at the 2016 Golden Globes. Perry explained that Bloom had just completed a period of celibacy and set personal intentions, while she was fresh out of a previous relationship and not ready for something serious.

Both Perry and Bloom underwent personal growth during their time apart, eventually reconciling after a retreat at the Hoffman Institute. Now, they are engaged and share a daughter, Daisy Dove, born in 2020. Perry praised Bloom for being her anchor during difficult times, a quality she deeply admires.

During The Cut premiere, Bloom reaffirmed his commitment, telling PEOPLE that his love language is "acts of service" and "showing up." In the movie, Bloom plays a boxer coming out of retirement to chase a championship title, starring alongside Caitríona Balfe and John Turturro, with direction by Sean Ellis.
