Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift have been best friends for a long time. However, recent reports suggest that the two have not been pictured together for months, sparking rumors and speculations about their friendship.

According to insiders, Gomez feels like an "outsider" in Swift's friendship squad. Swift is known for her close-knit group of celebrity friends, including Blake Lively, Lana Del Rey, Sophie Turner, Zoe Kravitz, Ice Spice, and Brittany Mahomes. Despite their long-standing friendship, Gomez has been noticeably absent from many of these gatherings.

One insider revealed, "Selena feels like she has matured out of Taylor's circle of friends. She has no desire to be out with Blake, or Ice Spice, or Brittany or really any of those girls." This sentiment was echoed by another source who mentioned that Gomez's absence is partly due to her lack of "desire" to be around Swift's other pals.

The last time Gomez and Swift were seen together was in January, and since then, Swift has been busy with her ongoing Eras world tour. During this period, Swift has been frequently photographed with her celebrity friends, but Gomez has been missing from these public outings.

Adding fuel to the fire, Gomez hinted at her feelings of exclusion back in February when she left a sad comment on a photo of Swift's box at the Super Bowl. The photo, posted by a Taylor fan page on Instagram, showed Swift with friends like Lively, Keleigh Sperry, and Ice Spice. Gomez commented with a sad tearful emoji and a black heart emoji.

Fans were further surprised when Gomez did not attend Swift's Rhode Island party in August. An insider explained, "In a lot of ways, she feels like an outsider now. She is not a cheerleader and never wanted to be." Despite these rumors, both Gomez and Swift have not publicly addressed the speculations about their friendship.
