In a series of interviews promoting her upcoming memoir, Melania Trump revealed personal insights into her life with former President Donald Trump, discussing family, their relationship and raising their son, Barron.

Speaking to Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt, Melania shared that Donald was eager to have more children after Barron was born in 2006, but she was content with just one. "I was always perfectly fine with one," she said, adding, "Donald was encouraging [us] to have more, but I said, I'm completely fine with one because it's a very busy life. And I know how busy he is. And I'm in charge of everything."

Melania reflected on their relationship, emphasizing Donald's caring nature, especially towards the country. When asked to describe her husband in one word, she said, "Caring, especially for this country." She praised his humor, personality, and kindness, adding, "We have a beautiful relationship."

The former first lady also touched on their early courtship, recalling their first date, a quiet drive to Bedford, New Jersey, to explore real estate. She felt a connection with him right away, admiring his vision and ambition.

Regarding her family life, Melania revealed how she handles their blended family. She emphasized the importance of accepting individuals as they are, saying, "You cannot control anyone... Everybody's in control of their own self. I'm not in control of my husband. I'm not even in control of my child."

Melania spoke about Barron, who recently started attending New York University. She said it was his decision to stay in New York and that she supports his independence. "He's an incredible young man. I'm very proud of his strength, intelligence, and kindness," she remarked. Despite Barron leaving for college, Melania does not feel like an empty nester. She stated, "I raised Barron as his own person and gave him his own yes and no's."
