Cameron Brink recently enjoyed a memorable trip to Paris. On Monday evening, the Los Angeles Sparks player shared exciting news: she's now engaged to her longtime partner, Ben Felter. Brink took to Instagram to announce the engagement, posting a series of photos from the romantic moment in Paris. She captioned the post, "Yes in every lifetime."

Brink and Felter have been together for almost four years, having met during their time at Stanford. Felter was part of the rowing team, while Brink shined on the women's basketball team. At 22, Brink was the second overall pick in the competitive 2024 WNBA draft and had a promising start to her rookie season. Unfortunately, her season was cut short after she tore her ACL just four minutes into a game against the Connecticut Sun on June 18. The injury sidelined her after only 15 games.

This devastating injury didn't just end her WNBA season but also kept her from competing in the women's 3x3 basketball event at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Despite this setback, Team USA managed to bring home a bronze medal. Months later, Paris still held a special moment for Brink as she got her engagement ring in the city of love.

Brink's fellow 2024 WNBA rookie class members continue to show their support. When Brink announced her engagement on Instagram, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, two of the top rookies from the 2024 class, were quick to share their congratulations. Clark, the No. 1 pick, reacted with heart-eye emojis, while Reese, selected seventh, wrote, "STOPPP. Congrats bby."

The trio of Brink, Clark, and Reese were all first-team All-Americans in 2024 and are instrumental in the rising popularity of women's basketball. As Brink focuses on recovering from her ACL surgery, her peers celebrate her personal win, closing 2024 on a positive note.
