Anne Hathaway's son Jack is getting a taste of the excitement and surprises of courtside seats! On November 13, the Idea of You actress, 42, took her youngest son to watch the New York Knicks face off against the Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden.

During the game, Ogugua "OG" Anunoby crashed into the courtside area, stumbling into Hathaway and Jack. The sudden impact left Jack momentarily stunned, his jaw dropping at the surprise encounter. Luckily, there were no injuries. A commentator joked, "Anunoby's scaring those along the sidelines," while another added, "The little kid was mesmerized. He couldn't move."

Hathaway, smiling, gently reassured Jack, rubbing his arm to let him know everything was fine. Commentators added, "He's not happy about the popcorn being spilled, that's for sure," before lightheartedly assuring Jack there would be more popcorn.

Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman, are parents to two sons: Jonathan, born in 2016, and Jack, who arrived three years later in 2019. Hathaway recently discussed her decision to keep her children out of the public eye in an interview with NET-A-PORTER's PORTER in November 2023. She explained, "It's essential not just for my own health, but for my family's. My children deserve to define their own lives." The Devil Wears Prada star continued, "It's not about merging their identities with mine in the public eye; it's about honoring their individual needs through my role as their parent."

Hathaway, who has previously mentioned considering a third child, has also shared details about her journey with fertility. In 2019, she posted an Instagram selfie announcing her second pregnancy, captioning it with a message to others facing similar challenges: "For everyone going through infertility and conception struggles, please know my pregnancies were not a straight path. Sending extra love." In March this year, she opened up to Vanity Fair about her pregnancy announcement and why she chose to share openly about her 2015 miscarriage. "With the pain I felt trying to conceive, it would've felt disingenuous to post something purely happy when I know the journey is more complex for so many," she said, acknowledging the layered experience of pregnancy for herself and others.
