Kim Kardashian recently shared insights into her parenting challenges, expressing the difficulties of raising four children largely on her own since her split from Kanye West. Speaking candidly on friend Zoe Winkler's podcast, What in the Winkler?, Kardashian reflected on the often isolating experience of parenting, despite having support systems in place. "I think you and I've mostly connected on parenting and judgment," she told Winkler, adding, "Even though we have great support systems and people around us, sometimes... you feel like you're in it alone."
She explained that her sense of solitude intensifies during late nights when all four kids are in her bed. "Sometimes in the middle of the night when they're all sleeping in your bed, kicking you and crying and waking up—it's not something that I talk about a lot," she admitted, pointing out that people often overlook her struggles because of her resources. "People always jump to, 'Oh, but you have the resources to have nannies and to have help.' But I just think that no matter what kind of help I have, I'm basically raising four kids by myself."
She also discussed the whirlwind nature of her daily routine, particularly during the morning school rush. "Even carpool this morning, I had five kids that I had to take," she recounted. "Everyone wants to leave at different times or wants different stuff. I feel like I'm at, like, a pit stop of a race car driver." She emphasized the importance of these everyday moments as a bonding time with her children, despite the chaos. "That's when I can get them up, get ready, but it's madness," Kardashian said.
Following her divorce from West, she strives to maintain a positive environment, ensuring her kids feel "loved and heard." "You want to be sensitive because they're just kids, and it's hard to go through no matter what age," she shared with GQ. She believes in showing her vulnerable side, saying, "You have to make sure that you only go to a level that they can understand... It's okay to show a vulnerable side."
