Ryan Reynolds broke his social media silence on Monday, days after his wife, Blake Lively, filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against actor and director Justin Baldoni. The lawsuit has ignited significant public attention, alleging a toxic and abusive work environment during the production of a film the pair worked on.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the 48-year-old actor hinted at challenging times while promoting his and Blake's campaign with Sick Kids Hospital. Dressed as Deadpool in a short clip featuring Wonder Woman star Lynda Carter, Ryan revealed the campaign was filmed "during a time I really didn't feel like putting the suit on." The couple pledged to match donations up to $500,000 until Christmas Eve, emphasizing the charity's vital role for families facing unimaginable hardships.

Blake, 37, filed her lawsuit in the California Civil Rights Department on December 20, accusing Justin, 40, of sexual harassment, including inappropriate comments, unsolicited advances, and creating a toxic workplace. Court documents allege Justin introduced sexualized scenes into the film without Blake's consent, made intrusive inquiries about her personal life, and engaged in unprofessional behavior, including unsolicited physical intimacy during scenes.

The lawsuit further details incidents where Justin reportedly improvised intimate moments without prior choreography, leaving Blake uncomfortable. It also accuses him of making inappropriate remarks about her weight and family and entering her trailer uninvited. Producer Jamey Heath is also implicated, with allegations of pressuring Blake into simulated nudity and showing her a graphic video of his wife giving birth without consent.

As these allegations surface, text messages included in the lawsuit reveal an alleged smear campaign by Justin's crisis management team, reportedly aimed at undermining Blake's reputation. The messages detail a strategy described as "social manipulation," including planting negative stories about her in the media.

Ryan's public silence on the matter has drawn attention, particularly as reports claim he blocked Justin on Instagram months before Blake filed the lawsuit. The lawsuit underscores ongoing challenges faced by women in the entertainment industry and highlights the urgent need for safer, more respectful workplaces.

Blake and Ryan have not directly commented on the case, but their public support for charitable causes and each other suggests their focus remains on positive efforts during a difficult time.
