His former publicist is also pursuing legal action in response to Blake Lively's accusations against Justin Baldoni. Stephanie Jones sued the It Ends With Us actor and director, his firm Wayfarer Studios, and publicists Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel in New York's Supreme Court on December 24.
In the filings seen by E! News, Jones alleges that Abel and Nathan "secretly conspired for months to publicly and privately attack Jones and Jonesworks, to breach multiple contracts and induce contractual breaches, and to steal clients and business prospects."
Abel worked at Jonesworks until this past summer, according to LinkedIn. Jones and Abel had a heated conversation after Abel resigned, according to texts obtained by E! News, although it ended with Abel thanking Jones for the opportunities she'd received.
Jones is bringing legal action against Abel and Nathan for covertly working with Baldoni and Wayfarer to start a media slander campaign against Lively, Baldoni's co-star in the movie. According to the lawsuit, these people publicly blamed Jones for the campaign and utilized the controversy to sour relations between Jones and Baldoni.
Since then, Baldoni and Wayfarer have broken up their relationship with Jonesworks, renouncing their contractual duties and declining to arbitrate the disagreement in private. In addition to compensating Jones and Jonesworks for the harm their actions and scheme caused, the lawsuit aims to put an end to their wrongdoing. The action aims to compensate the defendants and put an end to their ongoing attacks.
Blake Lively is suing Stephanie Jones and her company for alleged slander and sexual harassment. According to Kristin, Lively's attorney Tahler, the case is essential to halting the wrongdoing of the defendants and restoring Steph's name. Baldoni is charged with sexual harassment and campaign involvement in Lively's complaint, which was submitted to the California Civil Rights Department.
These allegations are refuted by Lively's legal team, who call them "completely false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media." Baldoni, Abel, and Nathan's text communications regarding the purported campaign are also included in Lively's complaint. Lively is hopeful that her legal action will help expose these punitive practices that target those who voice their opinions about misconduct and protect others who may be targeted.
