Lily-Rose Depp recently shared insights about her childhood and career in an interview with Harper's Bazaar. The actress opened up about the lasting emotional impact of her father's iconic role in Tim Burton's 1990 classic, Edward Scissorhands.

At the age of 25, the Nosferatu star described how watching the film as a child left her deeply affected. "Movies are supposed to make you feel something. I was traumatized by it [Edward Scissorhands]," Lily-Rose confessed. She clarified that her reaction stemmed not from fear of the character but from the mistreatment he endured. "Not because I thought he was scary, but because everyone was being so mean to him, and I got really upset."

This intense emotional response shaped her perspective on storytelling and acting. Despite their differences in style, Lily-Rose acknowledges the profound influence of growing up in a creative household. "We're very different actors, but of course, you're the product of your environment. It's a world I've always been very interested in," she said.

Lily-Rose's passion for acting has led her to carve her own path in Hollywood. She recently starred in Nosferatu, a remake of the 1922 silent horror classic, where she portrayed Ellen Hutter, a character at the center of a sinister obsession. The film, directed by Robert Eggers, features an ensemble cast, including Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, and Willem Dafoe. Critics have lauded her performance, with The Hollywood Reporter calling it "a revelation."

While Lily-Rose embraces her craft, she acknowledges the challenges of growing up in the spotlight. In an earlier interview with The Daily Telegraph India, she shared her struggles with maintaining privacy. "Every job has its own set of circumstances, and fame is the downside of acting. People are interested in things they shouldn't necessarily be interested in. The job of an actor is to go into a character, melt into it, and make the audience believe you are this character."
