Mandy Moore has expressed deep heartbreak after the Los Angeles wildfires destroyed parts of her Altadena neighborhood. Moore and her family were among thousands forced to evacuate as fires, including the Eaton Fire, ravaged the area.

Taking to Instagram, Moore confirmed her family's safe evacuation on Tuesday. "Evacuated and safe with kids, dog, and cats. Praying and grateful for the first responders," she shared. Despite the relief of being safe, the actor was overwhelmed by the destruction around her. "Honestly, I'm in shock and feeling numb for all so many have lost, including my family," she later added.

The 40-year-old, who shares three children with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, revealed the emotional toll of the disaster. "My children's school is gone. Our favorite restaurants, leveled. So many friends and loved ones have lost everything too." Her Instagram posts were accompanied by footage of burning buildings and charred landscapes in Altadena. "I love you, Altadena," she wrote. "Our community is broken, but we will be here to rebuild together."

Moore also highlighted the collective tragedy, noting that numerous friends and neighbors had suffered similar losses. She extended gratitude to those helping her family, saying, "Grateful for my family and pets getting out last night before it was too late and endless gratitude to friends for taking us in and bringing us clothes and blankets."

The Eaton Fire, one of several wildfires plaguing Los Angeles, forced over 30,000 residents to flee their homes, according to reports. Other notable stars, including Sandra Lee, Cameron Mathison, and Heidi Montag, also shared stories of loss. Lee mourned, "I don't have a home anymore, my house is gone," while Mathison shared footage of the rubble that remained of his residence.

Although it remains unclear if Moore's home survived, she expressed sorrow for the community's destruction and praised the efforts of firefighters. "Sending love to all affected and on the front lines trying to get this under control," she concluded.

The wildfires have left an indelible mark on Los Angeles, destroying homes and upending lives. As Moore poignantly reflected, "Don't know if our place made it, but I'm praying for everyone in our beautiful city."
