A fall wedding seems a bit out of style to Travis Kelce. After all, it's football season, damn it. Additionally, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, who is currently dating Taylor Swift, knows a lot of people who would be more interested in the game than the wedding itself.

On the January 8 episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis stated, "I actually don't know people who've gotten married in the fall," following a caller who disclosed that he and his girlfriend were at odds over her wanting to get married on a day when he would probably be at a football game. "My friends always do it in the summer."

"I've witnessed weddings everywhere except in the fall," the 35-year-old went on. Therefore, I'm not sure if fall is a good time of year for weddings.

In addition, Travis claims that every one of his friends has season tickets to football games.

"Don't make my friends have to not go," he joked with Jason Kelce, his co-host and older brother. "Don't make my friends choose whether or not they'll have to sell their tickets that week."

Jason, however, has "a lot more important things than football." He married Kylie Kelce in April 2018.

"Weddings happen to be one of them," explained the former center for the Philadelphia Eagles. "Not arguing with your wife is high up there."

What would he tell the caller? "Do the fall wedding and avoid this frivolous fight that means absolutely f--king nothing," Jason advised. "There are a lot of days in the fall that's not football."

According to the 37-year-old, "You can have a wedding on a Friday."

But Travis is off topic. The Grotesquerie actor will follow tradition regarding the day of the ceremony, even though he doesn't particularly like an autumn wedding.

"It's a weekend thing," added Travis. "It's a whole weekend thing."
