This is the end of Seth Rogen and James Franco's stalemate. The actors, who broke off their friendship while starring on Freaks and Geeks in 1999, went to SNL 50: The Anniversary Special in New York on February 16.

Additionally, Rogen and Franco attended the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary event separately, despite not bumping into each other on the red carpet.

While posing for photos with his wife Lauren Miller, who wore a one-shoulder black gown for the taping at 30 Rock, Rogen, 42, looked dapper in an off-white suit with striking black lapels.

Franco, 46, meanwhile, wore a classic black suit and held his arm around Izabel Pakzad, whom he has been seeing since 2017. She wore her hair up in a bun and wore a grey pantsuit with floral embroidery and a ruffled neckline. (Click here to watch all the celebrities walk the red carpet at SNL 50.)

Despite their frequent collaborations in the 2000s and 2010s, such as on the movies Pineapple Express and The Interview, Franco disclosed last year that Rogen had severed his relationship with him.

"No. In October, he told Variety, "I haven't spoken to Seth." "I think our 20 wonderful years together are over, but I still love Seth. And not because they didn't try. I've expressed to him how much I value him.

Rogen, though, seems to be pulling away. Regarding Franco's remarks about their friendship, he told Esquire in an interview that was released five days prior to SNL 50, "I absorb so little media that it really wasn't on my radar."

After Franco denied allegations of sexual misconduct against him in 2018, Rogen ultimately said he decided not to work with him.

According to Rogen's 2021 interview with The Sunday Times, "I also think back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now."

The termination of their professional partnership "is not a coincidence," he continued.
