A new documentary exploring the high-profile legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is set to premiere tonight on the U.K.'s Channel 5. The 90-minute film, titled "He Said, She Said: Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni," chronicles the ongoing controversy surrounding the actors' collaboration on the 2024 film "It Ends With Us."

Produced by ITN Productions' transatlantic team, the documentary promises "a timely and in-depth telling of the Hollywood story which has captured the global zeitgeist," according to Ian Russell, head of international at ITN Productions.

American viewers won't have to wait long for their own version. Investigation Discovery has acquired a shortened 60-minute cut that will stream on Max and Discovery+ beginning March 31.

The documentary delves into the legal battle that began in December 2024 when Lively, 37, filed a lawsuit against Baldoni, 41, alleging sexual harassment on set and claims of a hostile work environment during production.

Baldoni has consistently denied these allegations, responding with two lawsuits of his own. He sued The New York Times for $250 million after they published Lively's complaint in full, though this suit has been paused following the newspaper's motion to dismiss.

More significantly, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane. Sloane has since filed to be removed from the suit, while Lively and Reynolds have publicly rejected Baldoni's accusations.

"This story has captivated the world, perpetuated by social media which is still gaining momentum," said Denise Seneviratne, commissioning editor at Channel 5. "It feels really pertinent for us as a channel to be making this film within the context of '#MeToo.'"

The legal proceedings continue to evolve. Earlier this month, Lively secured a partial victory when her request for a stronger protective order was granted. The modified order includes an Attorneys' Eyes Only provision, limiting certain document access to just the legal teams.

"Today, the Court rejected the Wayfarer Parties' objections and entered the protections needed to ensure the free flow of discovery material without any risk of witness intimidation," a spokesperson for Lively told Us Weekly on March 13.

Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, responded that they agree with "the Court's decision to provide a narrow scope of protections" while opposing "any efforts by Ms. Lively and her team to hamper our clients' ability to defend against her attacks."

The former co-stars are scheduled to face each other in court next year, though a judge has indicated the trial date could be moved up if the dispute continues playing out in the media.
