The singer of "I'm Alive" celebrated her successful swing by performing a number of lighthearted dance moves as she hit the course with her sons, René-Charles, 24, and twins, Nelson and Eddy, 14. She shares these children with her late husband, René Angélil.
She posted the March 19 Instagram video with the caption, "I had a beautiful day with my boys out on the course." "Regaining my footing in the game!"
One of her sons was also heard complimenting their mother's performance in the video, saying, "That one was so good."
Since revealing her struggle with stiff-person syndrome in 2022, Céline has talked about how the rare neurological disorder's spasms have negatively impacted her physical abilities.
During a June appearance on Today, the 56-year-old stated, "I had broken ribs at one point." "It can occasionally break some ribs when it's really severe."
Céline's ability to perform her signature voice on stage has been limited due to the condition's effects on her entire body, including her vocal chords.
She went on, "It feels like someone is strangling you." "When your larynx and pharynx spasm, it feels like someone is pushing them."
The Grammy winner performed triumphantly at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics in July, despite her efforts to manage her condition. She has remained steadfast in her resolve to continue doing what she loves.
"From my perspective, I have two options," she stated in an April interview with Vogue France. "I either work really hard and train like an athlete, or I turn off and go home, where I listen to my music, stand in front of my mirror, and sing to myself."
"I know that nothing is going to stop me," Céline continued.
