TV is lamenting the death of a celebrity. According to several sources, Cindyana Santagelo, the actress who starred in Married... with Children, passed away. Her age was 58.
People cited a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department advisory that stated that on March 24, police were called to Cindyana's Malibu, California, home in response to a medical emergency.
According to TMZ, which cited law enforcement, she was taken to the hospital shortly after the call and was declared dead. A pending autopsy has not determined the cause of death. TMZ was the first to report the news, but authorities discovered that Cindyana had received cosmetic injections before she passed away.
Her best friend Cynthia Abanuelos expressed her sorrow over Cindyana's passing by sharing a number of photos and thinking back on their years together.
As I write this, my heart hurts. I'm still stunned and incredulous. How are you able to leave? On March 25, she and Cindyana shared a post on Instagram. "Every roaring wave, every briny wind, and every sunbeam glinting on the ocean's surface will make me feel your presence." You were my wife, my best friend, and my soulmate. The most beautiful human mermaid. Attracted to the sea forever.
“Though you are no longer here in the way I wish you could be, I know you're swimming in eternal waters, watching over us with that radiant smile,” Cynthia said of Cindyana, adding that her sons Dante and Lucci were her friend's “reason for living." Every seashell I discover and each wave that caresses the beach will serve as a reminder that you and I are still in each other's lives.
Cindyana's career started in 1989 when she danced in the music video for Young Mc's song "Bust a Move." A year later, Cindyana's voice was featured on Jane's Addiction's hit single, "Stop," and her fame grew. In an interview with Spin Magazine years later, frontman Perry Farrell would refer to her as "the Latin Marilyn Monroe."
Before going on to work on ER and CSI: Miami, Cindyana made an appearance on Married with Children in 1996 as dancer Sierra Madre. Her final on-screen appearance was on The Bo-Bo & Skippy Show in 2006 (no comma).
The model gushed about her relationship with her two sons while sharing a photo of them before she passed away.
She captioned the February 3 Instagram photo of her sons standing in front of a cake, saying, "These to Goonies mean everything." "What wonderful young men. Sweethearts, intelligent and beautiful.
