Khloé Kardashian has opened up about her prolonged celibacy and the high standards she now holds for anyone hoping to disrupt her current lifestyle. In a series of interviews and on her podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, the reality star candidly shared her reasons for avoiding romance following her split from Tristan Thompson in late 2021.

"I think once you go a certain time frame, it doesn't matter anymore," she told Us Weekly. "You're like, 'OK, now you have to be really worth it to break that.'" For Khloé, that means being someone exceptional—not just in charm but in character. "I think you're gonna have to be really, really special for me to want to add another person in the mix that I would have to share my time with another person and my children," she said.

Khloé shares two young children, True, 6, and Tatum, 2, with Thompson. She emphasized that her focus is firmly on motherhood. "I know this sounds crazy, but I don't want anyone to take me away from them. Not that I would let that happen, but I just don't know if I want the distraction right now," she noted.

On her podcast, Kardashian admitted that the idea of dating again scares her. "My track record hasn't been great in a pretty volatile, traumatic way," she said. The reality star added, "It makes me nervous, just 'cause all the stuff I've been through... How do you know that's not going to happen again?"

Reflecting on her past relationships, including her marriage to Lamar Odom and her time with Thompson, Khloé revealed she's done "a lot of therapy" and "self reflection." She questioned, "Why do I keep picking these people?" and now believes she's more discerning. "I pray I can identify certain red flags or certain things that I don't want to receive anymore."

Despite her current celibacy, Khloé has kept her sense of humor. On The Kardashians, she joked about marrying her bed. "That would be nice," she said. "I know who I'm coming home to every night... And you don't talk back."

Meanwhile, her new podcast Khloé in Wonder Land, released every Thursday, explores a wide range of topics and curiosities with guests like Mel Robbins and Dr. Steven Greer. "I have so many curiosities and fascinations," she said, "and I get to really dive into those by hosting this podcast."
