Kim Kardashian has reportedly filed a cease and desist against her ex-husband Kanye West, following a string of explicit social media posts that targeted her and others. At the same time, West has sent his own cease and desist through legal counsel, accusing Kardashian of violating their custody agreement.

According to Daily Mail sources, Kardashian was "forced to file a cease and desist" after West shared sexually explicit and disturbing tweets referring to her. In one post, the rapper called Kardashian "my nanny," and added, "Told Ray J we need to hit Kim from both sides for that Superstar part two," referencing her past sex tape. In March, West further escalated by labeling Kardashian a "sex worker" and "sex trafficker."

The former couple, who share four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—divorced in 2021 after seven years of marriage. While they legally have joint custody, the children primarily reside with Kardashian. A source close to her revealed she was "absolutely mortified" by West's tweets and demanded their removal. West, however, has publicly threatened to "go to war" with Kardashian in pursuit of full custody.

In a separate legal development, West's lawyer Kathy Johnson sent a cease and desist letter to Kardashian's attorney Laura Wasser. The letter raises three concerns about the children's welfare. First, West alleges that Kardashian brought North to the Met Gala in New York City and left her "unattended in a vehicle" during parts of the event. Second, he claims that Kardashian posted "images and videos" of North on TikTok against his wishes. Third, West accuses Kardashian of exploiting North "for personal or commercial gain," arguing it "disregards his joint custodial rights and his stated opposition to his children's public exposure."

Despite West's claims, sources close to Kardashian say he has "rarely asked to see the kids at all this year," and that she has "never denied him access when he does want to see them." Notably, his statement about not seeing Saint this year appears to conflict with public images showing him with three of the children in Japan earlier this year.

Kardashian isn't the only one taking legal action. Taylor Swift has also reportedly filed a cease and desist against West over similar vulgar online comments, warning of potential further legal steps.
