In a revealing and emotionally charged conversation on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose, Khloé Kardashian opened up about her personal journey through heartbreak, healing, and the pursuit of self-love. The interview, which aired recently, gave fans and listeners a raw and introspective look into the reality star’s emotional world, far beyond the glamorous life often portrayed on television and social media.
Khloé, known for her resilience and candid nature, didn’t hold back as she discussed topics ranging from betrayal and forgiveness to the importance of mental well-being. Reflecting on past relationships, including the very public cheating scandals involving her ex-partner Tristan Thompson, Khloé spoke about the difficulty of healing while being in the public eye.
“I’ve had to learn to stop internalizing other people’s behavior,” Khloé shared. “It took me a long time to realize that someone’s actions toward me have more to do with them than they do with my worth.”
Shetty, known for his thoughtful and empathetic interview style, gently guided Khloé through conversations about self-worth and setting emotional boundaries. Khloé revealed that therapy has played a critical role in her growth, noting that she now prioritizes her peace over trying to please others. “I used to be the fixer,” she admitted. “I always wanted to understand why someone hurt me. But sometimes you don’t get the closure you think you need. You have to give it to yourself.”
The conversation also touched on motherhood, a topic close to Khloé’s heart. She spoke with warmth and determination about co-parenting her two children with Tristan Thompson, emphasizing that her children’s well-being always comes first. Despite the personal challenges, she remains focused on raising them in a loving and stable environment. “Being a mom has made me stronger,” she said. “Everything I do now is with their future in mind. They’ve taught me what unconditional love truly feels like.”
When Khloe Kardashian was asked about how she was constantly being compared to her sisters, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, she says, “I was always talked about my looks, always told that I was chubby. No one ever believed that I was my siblings sibling. I remember so vividly that that feeling of being always compared to them but always not good enough to be considered their sibling and I don’t think these adults maliciously knew what they were doing but it was so impactful that for children I will do everything to include them for them to never feel like that and for adults too but like with kids I don't play and I never want someone to feel the way I did and so I wanna be that rock for everyone.”
Perhaps one of the most powerful moments in the interview came when Shetty asked Khloé what advice she would give her younger self. Her response was heartfelt and resonated with many. “I’d tell her she’s enough,” Khloé said, her voice cracking slightly. “That she doesn’t have to shrink herself to be loved. And that the right people will see her heart and stay.”
