After nearly a decade together, Robin Thicke and April Love Geary have officially sealed their long-standing commitment. The couple wed on May 30 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, marking the culmination of a relationship that has spanned over ten years, three children, and two proposals.
Their union comes after a lengthy engagement. Thicke first proposed in December 2018, during the holidays, with a glowing Geary sharing her "YES YES 1000x YES" on social media. More recently, Thicke surprised her again in Cannes with a second proposal. "Robin proposed again with a new ring made by one of my best friends," Geary shared, calling the moment "a dream."
The wedding itself blended glamour with sentimentality. Guests gathered on the beach as Thicke walked to Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," hand in hand with the couple's two-year-old son, Luca Patrick, who served as ring bearer. In a heartfelt tribute to his late father, actor Alan Thicke, the front row included an empty chair bearing a sign that read, "In Loving Memory Of Alan Thicke." Alan passed away in 2016 at the age of 69.
Geary, 30, was escorted down the aisle by her father, wearing an elegant white lace gown with a ruffled veil. She clutched a bouquet of white roses, and at the altar, emotion overcame her as Thicke, 48, delivered his vows. "I couldn't hold it in," she wrote, posting a teary-eyed photo from the ceremony.
Leading up to the wedding, the bride gave followers a glimpse behind the scenes. "My nerves are so bad," she confessed days earlier. "I felt like I was going to vomit." Her candid posts chronicled everything from bridesmaid dress fittings to packing anxieties, painting a picture of relatable pre-wedding jitters.
The celebration reportedly began with a welcome dinner on Thursday and extended through the weekend. While the guest list was rumored to include stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Usher, the intimate footage shared online focused more on family and sentiment than celebrity flash. Thicke and Geary first went public in 2015 at Cannes, shortly after his divorce from actress Paula Patton. Since then, they've built a family together, raising daughters Mia Love, 6, and Lola Alain, 4, along with Luca.
