Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's relationship is known for its public displays of affection and frequent celebrations of their milestones. On the June 13 episode of "The Kardashians", Kourtney revealed their unique way of marking anniversaries, including their "sex anniversary," the date they first became intimate.
Kourtney shared with her mom Kris Jenner, "Today is our three-year anniversary of the first time we were ever together." Ignoring Kris' comment about their "sex anniversary," Kourtney explained that they got engaged exactly one year later.
To celebrate, Kourtney gifted Travis with the wedding rings from "True Romance", the movie they watched the first time they were together stating, "You have one life on this planet and I feel like we like to have an extra reason to celebrate. The movie that we watched the first time was True Romance and it’s his favorite movie – so I found the wedding rings, the actual wedding rings from the movie.”
At the time of filming, Kourtney was nine months pregnant with their son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, born in November 2023. Despite her nearing due date, Kourtney prioritized intimacy with Travis, telling Kris, "I need to have sex," and explaining, "Because you can't have sex for six weeks after."
In addition to their public declarations, Kourtney's practical considerations were highlighted when she voiced her concern about her water breaking before Travis's arrival. “What if your water broke like right now?” She confided to Kris, "Let's not say that, 'cause I am not ready," as they prepared for the baby's birth.
Kris went on, “Oh, well after we’re done,” and Kourtney clarified, ‘‘No, my husband is on a plane, coming home.'’ ‘‘OK, then when he lands?’ Kris asked with a mischievous smile. “No. I need to like have sex,” Kourtney said.
