As the conversation continued, she doubled down on her position, adding, "You don't have to do that. Just leave... find a new group." Lady Gaga is encouraging compassion and empathy at a time she believes many people are struggling.

The 39 year old Grammy winner recently recorded a cover of Mister Rogers' iconic theme song, "Won't You Be My Neighbor?", for a Rocket and Redfin commercial set to air during Super Bowl LX. In an email interview with PEOPLE, Gaga shared that the message behind the song feels especially meaningful right now.

The theme from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood brings back some of her earliest childhood memories. Gaga recalled watching the show as a young girl and feeling comforted by Fred Rogers' presence. She said he had a rare ability to make people feel worthy simply by being themselves, adding that this sense of unconditional acceptance left a lasting impression on her.

When Rocket, Redfin and Fred Rogers Productions approached her about reimagining the song, Gaga said she felt deeply honored. She explained that Rogers stood for kindness and inclusion during a time when those values were not always widely embraced. According to Gaga, that message has only become more relevant as the world faces growing uncertainty and division.

She approached the recording with care, aiming to balance hope with honesty. Working alongside Alex Smith and Benjamin Rice at Shangri La Studios in Los Angeles, Gaga focused on keeping the arrangement simple while reflecting the emotional weight of the current moment. She said she wanted her delivery to feel sincere and optimistic, while still acknowledging the tension many people are feeling.

Gaga noted that the central question of the song remains powerful: will you show up for the people around you? She believes it is something everyone should reflect on right now.

A week after rupturing the ACL in her left knee, Lindsey Vonn opened her chase for Olympic gold at the age of 41 with an aggressive and successful training run down the Olympia delle Tofane downhill course on Friday, two days before the race.

Vonn got tight with her line midway down and only narrowly cleared a gate but she led at the final checkpoints, then stood up out of her tuck before the finish. She traded fist pumps and a hug with teammate Breezy Johnson, who came down ninth, just before her, after a delay because of fog.

“Yep,” Vonn told AP when asked if the run went well.

Kristen Stewart has opened up about the lasting emotional impact of portraying Princess Diana in the 2021 film Spencer, revealing that the experience continues to stay with her years after production ended. As rumors swirl about what will happen when the final four episodes of Bridgerton season four premiere on February 26, the novelist behind the beloved historical romance universe, Julia Quinn, has warned that fans may walk away in mourning.

"I can just say, get your tissues ready, because it's rough," she told US Weekly in an interview published on February 5. OpenAI chief Sam Altman has been mocked after launching a lengthy public attack on rival chatbot maker Anthropic over the latter’s planned Super Bowl adverts. Anthropic intends to use its spots to criticise the introduction of ads in ChatGPT, calling the change a “betrayal.” In a 420-word post on X, Altman fired back, accusing Anthropic of being “dishonest” and “deceptive” and even charging the company with using “doublespeak.”

But commenters on social media have turned the accusation back on Altman, with some likening his post to "the digital equivalent of a toddler throwing a tantrum".

“Looks like a nerve was well and truly hit," said one person, while another called his post "hypocritical".

"The reason Anthropic's satirical ads went viral is precisely because public trust in you and OpenAI has already hit rock bottom over the past few months," reads one prominent comment.

Altman also took issue with Anthropic's decision to run the videos during the Super Bowl on 8 February.

"I guess it's on brand for Anthropic doublespeak to use a deceptive ad to critique theoretical deceptive ads that aren't real, but a Super Bowl ad is not where I would expect it," he wrote. He justified the introduction of adverts by saying it was because OpenAI was committed to "free access" and "agency" for ChatGPT users.

"Anthropic serves an expensive product to rich people," he said, and argued his company sought to "bring AI to billions of people who can't pay for subscriptions".

Luke Combs puts his family first.

The country star announced one day before his scheduled performance at the Madden Bowl in San Francisco that he is withdrawing from the 2026 Super Bowl pre-party, which will be held in Santa Clara, California, prior to the big game on February 8.

"I'm sorry we missed you at Madden Bowl," he wrote on his Instagram Story on February 5, "but family always comes first. Have a great time!"
