Taylor Swift expressed immense gratitude to her fans in Madrid after two "magical" nights of performances at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on May 29 and 30 as part of her Eras Tour. On Friday, May 31, the pop star took to Instagram to share her excitement and thank her fans. "I LOVE YOU FOREVER MADRID!!! No ability to convey my thoughts other than to just YELL that," she wrote. "We just got to spend 2 magical nights dancing and singing with the most electrifying, passionate crowds and I’ll never forget a second of it. I can’t thank you all enough. See you Lyon!."
The Instagram post included a carousel of images showcasing Swift in various outfits, such as her one-legged snake bodysuit and blue sequin bodysuit, reflecting the vibrant energy of her performances. Swift's concerts in Madrid were notable not only for her performance but also for the presence of several celebrities. Among the attendees were actress Blake Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds and the Haim sisters Este, Danielle and Alana. Fans shared videos on social media of the Haim sisters and Lively dancing in the audience.
Lively, who attended both nights, was joined by her daughters on Wednesday. Swift acknowledged their presence from the stage, referencing Lively’s children in her song "Betty" from her album "Folklore". "I have to say that on Folklore, some of my favorite characters are named James, Inez and Betty," Swift noted during her performance.
Reynolds, attending his first Eras Tour show on Thursday, had previously expressed his excitement. In an interview on "Today with Hoda and Jenna", he called Swift's tour "the best concert on planet Earth," adding, "I’m about to go to the Madrid show. Very excited, my wife and kids have been to five of them, five or six now."
Swift’s next performances are scheduled in Lyon, France, on June 2 and 3, before she heads to the United Kingdom for shows in Scotland and England. This European leg of the Eras Tour continues to showcase Swift's ability to connect deeply with her fans, creating memorable experiences at each stop.
