During a live session with her fans, Chloe Bailey reveals that her label doesn’t have a budget for her performances. She claims money goes into performances and her budget has not been approved. She went ahead to reveal that it is not about her work ethic or not wanting to perform. Her statement made fans sympathize with her, with one saying, “They failed Chloe so bad… this girl is immensely talented. Instead of focusing on her gifts, they decided to play the good sister, bad sister angle – over sexualizing her body & overshadowing that beautiful voice. I hate it for her so bad. Her career deserved better.”
Some claim that she deserves better than what she is receiving. “ Chloe is one of the most talented and hardworking artists we have right now. And to see her be stifled in this way, especially with such a solid follow up album, is straight up heartbreaking. She deserves better than this.”
Other fans alleged that people are really not interested in buying Chloe’s music. “ This is not a drag but they’ve put her on tour twice, she was a Coachella headliner, she’s been in movies, tv and award show performance. People just aren’t buying the product/music. You can have unlimited marketing budget but if people don’t like that product…(Frown emoji).”
Chloe Bailey and her sister Halle were in a group, singing and performing together, however, they decided to go their separate ways and pursue solo careers. Social media users claim that they went solo too early, with others refuting the claim by saying, “Now everyone wants to lie as if y’all didn’t spend ungodly hour era saying Halle was a bad performer and Chloe should ditch Halle, over sexualizing Chloe, Saying Halle should stick to acting and then y’all didn’t stream or buy ungodly hour.”
Other fans claim Chloe has gotten more opportunities than Amy other artist who sell the same as her. “They are signed to Columbia and Parkwood. Columbia handles the marketing, distribution and promotion. Parkwood handles management. Chloe has gotten more opportunities than any other artists who sell the same as her. Maybe the ROI isn’t good enough for Columbia, imma need y’all to use your brains.”
