On Christmas Day, Beyoncé delivered an unforgettable halftime show during the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens matchup at NRG Stadium in Houston. Returning to her hometown, the Grammy-winning icon gave fans a live debut of her album Cowboy Carter.

The show began with Beyoncé riding into the stadium on a white horse, dressed in an all-white ensemble that included a massive fur coat, cowboy hat, and bedazzled bodysuit adorned with glittering Western patterns. She opened with "16 Carriages," followed by a soulful rendition of "Blackbiird," joined by country singers Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts.

As the performance gained momentum, Beyoncé transitioned into high-energy tracks like "Ya Ya" and "Riiverdance," showcasing a marching band and a vibrant array of dancers. Special guests Shaboozey and Post Malone made surprise appearances, performing "Sweet Honey Buckiin'" and "Levii's Jeans," respectively. The crowd erupted as Beyoncé invited her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, to join her on stage for the finale, "Texas Hold 'Em." Dressed in a matching all-white outfit, Blue Ivy danced alongside her mother, adding a heartfelt touch to the spectacle.

Beyoncé's set was a visual feast, complete with intricate dance formations, American flags, and dazzling outfits. She ascended into the air on a white platform for the grand finale, leaving the crowd in awe. The performance also featured her cover of "Jolene" and a moving moment with Post Malone atop a pickup truck, blending glamour with a nod to country traditions.

The halftime show marked Beyoncé's first live performance of Cowboy Carter tracks since the album's release in March, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Reflecting on her roots, she proclaimed, "It's only right that we do 'Texas Hold 'Em' for the first time in Texas, on Christmas."

The event was part of Netflix's inaugural NFL Christmas Day game broadcast, a collaboration that NFL executive Hans Schroeder described as "a perfect combination to grow this event globally."
