Mariah Carey is not losing sleep over being left out of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

Speaking to TMZ outside a hotel in New York City on April 20, the singer was asked whether she was disappointed about missing out on this year's list of inductees. Her response was simple and unbothered. She said she did not mind and was happy to see other artists receive the recognition instead. She even added that the honor could go to someone else and that it was a good thing.

Following Brooks' rendition of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb," host Ryan Seacrest teased a surprise for the singer.

Four-time Grammy Award winner and "American Idol" judge Lionel Richie is still processing a big family shift. He said he is "still trying to get used" to daughter Sofia Richie Grainge being a mom of two, calling it "the baby having a baby," in an interview with People.

"I'm still trying to get used to it," he said, according to the outlet. He also joked about his new role as a grandfather, adding that he now goes by "Papa Richie."

Sofia announced the arrival of her baby boy, Henry Cecil Grainge, in an Instagram post on March 25, confirming he was born March 18.
