Harrison Ford fought back tears as he accepted the Life Achievement Award at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards on Sunday, March 1.
The 83-year-old icon was presented with the evening's top honor by close friend Woody Harrelson, who praised Ford's enduring talent and unmistakable screen presence. Taking the stage to a standing ovation, Ford balanced gratitude with wit as he looked back on more than five decades in Hollywood.
"I feel incredibly grateful for this kind attention, but to be clear, I'm also quite humbled," he began, prompting warm applause from the crowd of fellow performers. Gesturing to the nominees in the room, he quipped, "Many of you are here because you're nominated for your amazing work. I'm here to receive a prize for being alive."
