Actress Nicole Kidman has revealed she is pursuing a new and unexpected path following the death of her mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, in 2024.

Speaking during a live discussion at the University of San Francisco, Kidman shared that the experience of losing her mother after a prolonged illness inspired her to train as a death doula, a role focused on providing emotional and practical support to individuals nearing the end of life.

Reflecting on her mother's final moments, she said, "As my mother was passing, she was lonely, and there was only so much the family could provide." She explained that balancing family responsibilities and careers made it difficult to be constantly present,

adding, "Between my sister and I, we have so many children and our careers and our work, and wanting to take care of her because my father wasn't in the world anymore."

Katy Perry is forcefully denying a sexual assault allegation made by Ruby Rose, who claimed the incident occurred nearly two decades ago in Australia.

The dispute began when Rose, known for her roles in "Orange Is the New Black," posted a series of messages on Threads over the weekend. She alleged that Perry, then an emerging pop artist, assaulted her at a Melbourne nightclub while she was in her early 20s.

"It has taken me almost 20 years to say this publicly," Rose wrote, describing the experience as deeply traumatic. She claimed she initially framed the encounter as a humorous story before later deciding to speak out.

In response, a representative for Perry issued a firm denial, calling the allegations "categorically false" and warning that the claims are "dangerous reckless lies." The statement also pointed to what it described as Rose's history of making public accusations that have been disputed by others.

Rose went on to share graphic details about the alleged encounter, prompting strong reactions across social media. Supporters expressed solidarity with the actress, while others questioned the timing and nature of the claims

Growing up in the spotlight was not easy for Dan Levy. During a recent appearance on Q with Tom Power, the 42-year-old reflected on how his father Eugene Levy's fame affected him during his younger years.

Although Dan is now widely recognized for his own work, he admitted that being exposed to public attention as a child was deeply uncomfortable. When host Tom Power asked about his experience growing up with a famous parent, Dan responded candidly that he disliked it and that it strained his relationship with his father.

He explained that at the time, he was still figuring out his identity and dealing with personal insecurities. Being in public spaces where people frequently recognized his father only intensified those feelings. He described how the attention they received whenever they went out made him uneasy, especially as someone who was not yet comfortable with himself. As a result, he began distancing himself from being seen in public with Eugene, even though it was not meant to hurt him.

Dolly Martinez, who appeared on season 10 of My 600-lb. Life, died, her sister Lindsey Cooper confirmed. She was thirty.

"It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beautiful sister, Dolly," Lindsey wrote on Facebook on April 11. "Dolly had the most vibrant personality. She could brighten any room with her laughter, kindness, and caring spirit. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her warmth will be with us forever.

The reality star's sister admitted that she was finding some peace in the midst of a difficult situation.

"While our hearts are broken here, I find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with our dad in heaven," she said. "I can just imagine the joy of that reunion.”

Pop star Britney Spears has checked into a treatment facility, just over a month after she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

A representative for the 44-year-old singer confirmed that she voluntarily entered the facility in April, following the March incident in California. Authorities said the arrest came after reports of a vehicle being driven erratically along U.S. 101 in Ventura County. Spears was subjected to field sobriety tests before being taken into custody and later released the same day.

Lane Johnson has celebrated a major milestone away from football, tying the knot with Kelsey Holmer in a private ceremony.

The Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle, 35, shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, April 12, revealing that the couple married at a scenic estate in Nashville. The charity Sentebale, co-founded by the Duke of Sussex, is suing Prince Harry and fellow former trustee Mark Dyer for defamation. The organization alleges that an "adverse media campaign" has caused significant disruption and "reputational harm" to its leadership. A spokesperson for Prince Harry and Dyer stated that they "categorically reject" the claims, describing them as offensive and damaging.
