Isiah Whitlock Jr., the commanding actor best known for playing the corrupt state senator Clay Davis on "The Wire," died on Tuesday in New York City after a short illness, Variety has confirmed. He was 71.

His manager, Brian Liebman, shared the news on Instagram, writing: "It is with tremendous sadness that I share the passing of my dear friend and client Isiah Whitlock Jr. If you knew him, you loved him. A brilliant actor and even better person. May his memory forever be a blessing. Our hearts are so broken. He will be very, very missed."

Stefon Diggs is facing serious legal trouble after his former personal chef claimed the Patriots star slapped and choked her during a heated argument over her salary ... with prosecutors now hitting the wide receiver with felony charges.

According to the newly released incident report, the female employee went to police on Dec. 16 to report an altercation that allegedly occurred on Dec. 2. The chef claims Diggs entered her unlocked bedroom to confront her about an ongoing text battle regarding money she believed she was owed.

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton have great news.

The Loki star stated in a GQ story published on December 30 that the couple had welcomed their second child together.

Though Tom did not divulge the name or gender of his newborn, he did mention that Zawe gave birth just before his sister welcomed her own child. He enthused to the source that birth is the "most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering" experience.

The couple, who welcomed their first child in 2022, told Vogue about Zawe's pregnancy ahead of the SXSW London premiere of Tom's film The Life of Chuck on June 7. At the event, the Dreams of a Life actress showed off her pregnancy in a stunning Emilia Wickstead light-blue ruffled gown.

“I feel really lucky to be working with someone that I know and who’s been such a champion of me at this sensitive red-carpet dressing moment,” the Marvels actress told the magazine of the milestone moment. “I feel like I’ll be very held on an evening where, as an expectant mother, you can feel a little bit exposed.”

While Zawe, 40, and Tom, 44, keep much of their family life out of the spotlight—they have yet to reveal the name of their first child—the couple nevertheless gives the occasional public shoutout.

"Zawe, none of this makes sense without you," the Night Manager star exclaimed in his acceptance speech at the 2024 People's Choice Awards. "Thank you for your love and support every step of the way."

And Tom, who plays Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, couldn't help but applaud his girlfriend when she entered the MCU as Dar-Benn.

"My other half is in The Marvels," Tom stated on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in November 2023, "and I'm very proud of her."

The Avengers alum provided some excellent advice from one villain to another.

"One of the main takeaways from our conversations was, 'What you put into Marvel, you get back,'" Zawe told Entertainment Weekly in 2023. "He said, 'If you go into this with an open heart and a fantastic work ethic and just want to deliver an amazing experience for the audience, you'll have an amazing experience on those sets. "He truly empowered me in that way."

Zawe and Tom first ignited engagement rumors when the actress from All of You was pictured at the 2022 BAFTA Awards with a diamond ring on her left hand. Tom confirmed the news in a June 2022 interview with the Los Angeles Times, saying, "I'm very happy."

Tatiana Schlossberg, the daughter of Caroline Kennedy and a prominent environmental writer, has died at the age of 35 after months of treatment for a rare form of leukemia.

News of her death was shared Tuesday by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on social media. In the brief message, her family wrote, "Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts."

Schlossberg revealed in November that she had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a fast-moving cancer that attacks the blood and bone marrow. In a deeply personal essay for The New Yorker, she explained that doctors discovered the disease in May 2024, shortly after she gave birth to her second child, when routine tests showed abnormal blood counts.
