Vice President JD Vance got laughs at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library while promoting his new memoir Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith.

Asked about a chapter titled "Mo Money, Mo Problems" Vance quipped that he was inspired by "the wisdom of the great Christian theologian P. Diddy." He quickly added, however, that recent years have shown Combs to be very much not a Christian.

"I'm a millennial, so I believe that's the wisdom of the great Christian theologian P Diddy, who as we found out in the last couple of years is very much not a Christian or a theologian," He joked. "I'm going to get in trouble for all kinds of things. That will be one of them. That will be in an attack ad at some point in the future."

Diddy has been incarcerated since September 2024, serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He is scheduled for release in February 2028.

Despite his legal troubles, Combs has spoken openly about his faith. He carried a Bible to court during his trial and, in a letter to the judge before sentencing, wrote: "I can't change the past, but I can change the future. I know that God put me here to transform me. I'm committed to the journey of remaining a drug free, non-violent, and peaceful person."

Combs' lawyers are appealing his conviction, while he continues to face dozens of civil lawsuits nationwide. President Donald Trump has said Combs sought a pardon but indicated he would not grant one.
