In the recent months, multiple women have come forward to share their negative experiences with the music mogul, just six months later, CNN released a footage of Diddy kicking and assaulting his ex-girlfriend singer Cassandra Ventura. This came after Diddy denied all the allegations against him by Ms. Ventura. Despite the numerous lawsuits, Diddy has not been charged with anything yet. This is because the Los Angeles District Attorney said that the conduct would have occurred beyond the timeline where the crime of assault can be prosecuted.
After Diddy apologized when the video circulated, many celebrities, including Candace Owens did not believe that his apology was genuine. According to a member of Diddy’s inner circle, he is allegedly upset about the leaked video footage because it doesn’t tell the full story about what happened.
“Especially about the video, he insists that it doesn’t tell the full story about what happened. Not that he’s excusing it but he says it was a selected video,” the insider tells The New York Post. “It’s his position that there was an agenda in releasing the video when it was released. But ultimately, he knows that his big concern is the raids on his house; the Cassie video is just a distraction,” the insider concluded.
Diddy has had a lot of legal problems ranging from rape, sexual assault and trafficking among other serious crimes. “Following a comprehensive evaluation, a decision has been made to end the partnership between Capital Preparatory Schools and Sean Combs,” co-founder and head of school Dr. Steve Perry said in a statement via Vulture. “We firmly believe it is in the best interest of our organisation’s health and future.” The public, tuition free charter school is not the only business to cut ties with Diddy.
