Govind Sandhu is sharing details about his own well-being. Sandhu, who is the head of Global Music Partnerships at TikTok Australia, said that he was recently diagnosed with stage 4 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

In a recent Instagram post, Govind stated, "This wasn't exactly part of my five-year plan." "I believed that I was in the best physical and mental health of my life. A crossfitter who competes in marathons and ultramarathons thrives on training, sleep and recuperation optimization, supplementation, and nutrition.

The 38-year-old continued by saying that, following weeks of marathon training in Bali, he had returned to Sydney in April. And he didn't start experiencing problems until the day following the half marathon in May, which prompted him to visit the doctor the following day.

In another video, Govind said, "I just got really bad flu-like symptoms." Specifically, excruciating bodily aches that radiate from the back of my neck to my shoulder. I was completely soaked that night due to intense body sweats that would wake me up throughout the night.

Throughout his cancer struggle, the executive has kept followers informed. He will undergo six rounds of chemotherapy every 21 days.

"Daily movement," he posted on July 3rd on Instagram Stories. "A little bit of chemo brain, also known as brain fog, but overall not feeling too bad, one day after cycle two." The bowels are moving, which was a little problematic just after cycle one. I slept well.

However, dealing with the emotional fallout from his diagnosis is a particularly challenging aspect of the process.

Govind said, "Cancer is so complicated, confusing, and nuanced." It can be somewhat daunting to comprehend the true implications of a diagnosis at first because it's such a unique experience. It's about taking things day by day and step by step, for me. As I've previously stated, I try to regulate my food, exercise, and nutrition as much as I can.
