Sophie Turner is seeking a fresh start. The Game of Thrones star has partnered with St-Germain to create a nostalgic short film for their "Spritz Up Your Summer" campaign. PEOPLE got exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the set.
The film begins with Turner on an elegant outdoor staircase "somewhere in the south of France." She gives a playful smirk to the camera, inviting viewers to join her on a quest for summer romance.
As she enters a bar in the next scene, the bartender does a double take at her arrival. "I'm looking for something different, fresh, fun," Turner says seductively as she takes a seat at the bar. The bartender simply responds, "Oui."
Turner then lists attractive qualities she desires—seemingly in a partner. "I'm very particular," she jokes, adding, "just go with it." "It has to be bright, bubbly, the type that's welcome at any party. Sweet, but not too sweet," she elaborates.
It soon becomes clear she might not be talking about a person. "Am I asking too much, or do you think I'll find it?" she asks. The bartender replies, "I think you already have," and slides her a cocktail.
"Someone catches on quickly. I love a St-Germain Hugo Spritz," Turner says, referencing the drink. "Truly the whole package." She then breaks the fourth wall, looking directly at the camera, and the bartender asks, "Who are you talking to?" "The audience," she replies. The film concludes with a picturesque view of the south of France, and Turner enjoying her cocktail.
Following her split from husband Joe Jonas in September, Turner has been linked to Peregrine Pearson. She was recently seen with the British aristocrat at a polo match on his family estate in West Sussex, England.
Turner's collaboration with St-Germain is a natural fit. In a press release, she expressed her enthusiasm for spritzes, saying, "I am thrilled to collaborate with the St-Germain team to help inspire people to spritz up their summer. St-Germain Hugo Spritz is certainly my go-to cocktail this season."
The refreshing cocktail, perfect for the English actress, is made with St-Germain elderflower liqueur, Martini prosecco, soda water, and garnished with mint and lime.
