Alongside his spouse, Tracy Pollan, Michael J. Fox is commemorating his past, present, and future. In honor of their 36th wedding anniversary, the Back to the Future actor said on Instagram on July 16th, "Here's to a lifetime of love with the love of a lifetime." "T. Forever, happy anniversary."
Tracy, of course, responded in kind with a few heart emojis in the comments. Christopher Lloyd, who costarred with Michael in Back to the Future, also couldn't resist letting one go.
Michael and Tracy took some time to get to know one another, even though they first came together in 1985 while appearing as an on-screen pair in Family Ties. After all, Michael was married to Nancy McKeon from The Facts of Life, while Tracy was dating Kevin Bacon from Footloose. But when they got back together for Bright Lights, Big City in 1988, he was happy to hear Tracy was no longer single. (In his case, he and Nancy parted ways in late 1985.)
In 1989, Fox told People, "It sounds really horrible, but it was one of those things." "Did you hear that so-and-so aren't together anymore?" asks someone. and you think, "Well, that's not good." The phone is where?
The couple began dating soon after and got married on July 16, 1988, just seven months after they first met. Now, Sam, 35, Aquinnah, 32, Schuyler, 29, and Esmé, 22, are their children.
Tracy and Michael have had many highs and lows over their 34 years of marriage, including his 1998 public announcement of his Parkinson's diagnosis. However, as it happened, the sickness served to emphasize to him how durable his marriage is.
In 2002, Michael told O magazine, "Tracy was the right person for me, and it has been amazing." "We have loved each other through everything."
