Britney Spears recently took to Instagram to address comments made by Ozzy Osbourne and his family about her frequent dance videos. Ozzy, 75, expressed on "The Osbournes Podcast" that he was "fed up of seeing poor old Britney Spears on YouTube" and described her posts as "sad, very, very sad." His wife Sharon and daughter Kelly agreed, with Sharon calling Britney a "poor little thing" and labeling her situation "heartbreaking."

In response, Britney, posted a fiery message on Instagram on Wednesday, July 17. She defended her right to share dance videos, a form of "therapy" for her following her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in November 2021. Britney called the Osbournes "the most boring family known to mankind" and told them to "kindly f--- off." She said that her posts, like those of actress Kate Beckinsale, who also faces criticism for her social media content, are her way of expressing herself and should not be judged.

Britney praised Kate Beckinsale for her response to critics who say she should post more "age-appropriate" content. "I adore Kate Beckinsale especially because she's from London," Britney wrote, calling her "badass" for standing up to negative comments. Britney related to Kate's experience, noting, "I know what it's like to be judged so it's a ridiculous and stupid subject initially but I think it's important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls grow."

"There are some incredibly cruel people out there and you have to be extremely careful who you allow in your circle and your heart." She urged people to support one another instead of tearing each other down.

In her post, Britney addressed her critics directly: "What are you gonna do to help someone out and bring their dreams to life besides being like me and Kate's haters saying we're too old or don't have appropriate content? Do you think perhaps they might be offended by what they see ??? Would a condescending approach be better like inviting those exact people to my class and let them see how my students are nourishing and living THEIR LIVES !!!???"
