JoJo Siwa, the 21-year-old entertainer known for her vibrant personality and successful career, has recently opened up about her plans for motherhood. In a candid interview with Cosmopolitan, Siwa revealed her desire to have triplets through an unconventional surrogacy method.
Siwa, who came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community in 2021, explained that her approach to starting a family differs from that of heterosexual couples. Her plan involves fertilizing three eggs and using three separate surrogates simultaneously. This method would result in three children who are genetically related but born on different days.
The former "Dance Moms" star has been vocal about her maternal instincts, claiming she's felt them since the age of 12. Despite her young age, Siwa believes she'll be ready for parenthood in the next three to four years. She's even chosen names for her future children: Freddie, Eddie, and Teddie.
Interestingly, Siwa has already selected a sperm donor, though she remains tight-lipped about their identity. This level of preparation demonstrates her commitment to her future family plans.
While discussing her romantic life, Siwa described herself as "messy" but didn't divulge details about her current relationship status. She has previously been linked to Avery Cyrus and Kylie Prew.
Siwa's journey to motherhood reflects changing attitudes towards family planning in the LGBTQ+ community. Her openness about the process may help normalize alternative paths to parenthood for many young people.
As she awaits motherhood, Siwa continues to focus on her career. She recently released a new song, "Karma," marking a shift in her public image from teen icon to a more mature artist.
