Family members and friends of Shannen Doherty are finding solace in recollections of her true self. Shannen's Charmed co-star Holly Marie Combs paid a heartfelt homage to her late friend, Shannen, after the actress passed away on July 13 at the age of 53 from breast cancer. She also made a subtle reference to Shannen's sense of humor.

"It's been one week and it feels like forever," Holly wrote in the caption of a July 21 Instagram post featuring the Heathers actress in a video montage. "I searched for that one picture all day and found almost all of them, but not that one."

She chuckled, "I thought she would be busy with a few others at first, but Shannen promised to haunt me." However, I am certain that it will appear when and where I least expect it to. My pillar of support.

The following day, the Pretty Little Liars alum reflected on one of the most trying aspects of her friend's death.

"We thought we had more time, but I believe she accomplished as much as she could in the time she had." On the July 22 episode of the Charmed rewatch podcast, House of Halliwell, Holly spoke through tears. And that's the truly depressing aspect. For this year, we had very ambitious plans. She also didn't believe that she would be leaving anytime soon."

According to her, "You always think you have more time, but it sounds terribly cliche until it happens to you." Abrupt changes can occur in life.

After all, Shannen was supposed to appear in a lot more episodes of House of Halliwell, including some with Rose McGowan, who joined the show after her departure, even though she had only recorded a few episodes of the Charmed rewatch podcast. Holly said, "She was really looking forward to this, and that's one of the saddest parts to me." "And she was genuinely quite excited to watch the Rose-related episodes."

Holly laments Shannen's inability to complete her plans for the podcast, but she is also appreciative of the memories they created together while working on it.

Holly continued, "We actually watched the first two episodes together like we were freaking teenagers again one of the last times I was with her." And before we recorded this, we watched the episodes together while seated in her office. And after giving it some thought, I can say that everything turned out okay.

The 50-year-old also mentioned Shannen's happiness with the podcast, mirroring the earlier remarks made by Brian Krause, co-star of Charmed and fellow House of Halliwell host.

Holly recalled, "I want everyone to know she was super happy to be here and she was super happy to watch it again with fresh eyes." She turned into a fan. She observed it as if she were a spectator, and it was just—I don't think anybody loved Charmed more than she.”
