Demi Lovato is lighting up social media with a delightful announcement. The "Heart Attack" singer and her fiancé, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, have welcomed a new furry member to their family—a puppy named Pickle.
Lovato introduced their new pet on her Instagram Stories on July 23, sharing a photo of the adorable blonde-haired puppy sitting on a colorful rug. "Meet our new son Pickle," she wrote, highlighting their latest addition.
Pickle's name reflects one of Lovato's favorite foods. Earlier this year, during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 31-year-old singer revealed her fondness for pickle juice popsicles. This led to a surprise bouquet of pickles from Jutes, 33, which was brought out on the show.
Welcoming a dog together marks another significant milestone for Lovato and Jutes, who got engaged in December 2022, a little over a year after they went public with their relationship. Following their engagement, Lovato expressed her joy and excitement on Instagram. "I'm still speechless," she wrote. "Last night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life. My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you. Every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever. Here's to the rest of our lives."
This engagement comes after Lovato called off her previous engagement to Max Ehrich in 2020. In her relationship with Jutes, Lovato has found a deep connection. "We just laugh constantly about sometimes the stupidest stuff," she shared on the Zach Sang Show in September. "I'm actually a very weird person. I can get really weird like just making weird noises and funny voices and just funny faces. When I'm with Jordan, I feel like we can be weird together and that nothing else in this world exists but us."
Lovato added, "It's so rewarding and so fulfilling and I feel like he completes me and that's, to me, what it feels like to be in love."
With their new puppy Pickle, Lovato and Jutes continue to build a life filled with love, laughter, and now, a bit more fur.
