Chelsea Blackwell, known for her appearance on Netflix's "Love Is Blind," has addressed recent speculation about her appearance with a candid social media post. The 31-year-old reality star took to Instagram on July 23, 2024, to set the record straight on rumors circulating about potential cosmetic procedures.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Blackwell first dispelled claims that she had undergone chin reduction surgery. "But for all you conspiracy theorists saying I'm bed ridden because I got my chin shaved down...she's still strong chinned," she wrote, accompanying the statement with a selfie showcasing her profile.
However, Blackwell did reveal that she had recently undergone breast augmentation surgery. "No new chin but new tatas! Yeeeehawww," she revealed in the caption of her photo wearing a pink t-shirt. The reality star explained that the procedure was "something I have wanted to do for YEARS & finally had the down time!"
This revelation comes months after Blackwell made headlines during her stint on "Love Is Blind" Season 6, which aired in February 2024. At the time, she stirred controversy by comparing herself to actress Megan Fox, claiming they shared similar features like "dark hair and blue eyes."
The comparison led to backlash from viewers and even a response from Blackwell's show partner, Jimmy Presnell. In a post-show interview, Presnell admitted, "She definitely lied to me on how she looked. Chelsea told me she looks like Megan Fox."
Addressing the fallout, Blackwell later shared that she had reached out to Fox directly. "I apologized to her, like, 'I'm so sorry I included you in this mess,'" the actor stated in another interview.
Beyond cosmetic procedures, Blackwell has been open about her health journey. In April 2024, she discussed her weight loss efforts on TikTok, emphasizing a focus on overall wellness rather than aesthetics. "I wasn't feeling healthy. I wasn't feeling strong. It was affecting my mental health and it was affecting my energy levels," she explained.
