Vivian Jenna Wilson, the 20-year-old transgender daughter of Elon Musk, has publicly condemned her father's harsh and unsupportive behavior in a series of interviews and social media posts. According to Wilson, Musk has been absent and cruel throughout her life, particularly targeting her for being queer and feminine.

Wilson disclosed to NBC News that Musk, who had joint custody, was rarely present and left her and her siblings to be cared for by their mother or nannies. When present, he pressured her to act more masculine and berated her for her femininity. "He was distant," she stated. "He's very quick to anger. He is indifferent and self-centered." She recalled a specific incident in fourth grade where Musk was so cruel. " I was in fourth grade. We went on this road trip that I didn't know was actually just an advertisement for one of the cars I don't remember which one and he was constantly yelling at me viciously because my voice was too high."

In 2022, Wilson gained media attention after petitioning the court to change her name and disown her father. "I no longer live with or wish to be associated with my biological father in any way, shape, or form." Her mother, Justine Wilson, publicly supported her decision.

Musk's recent comments have further strained their relationship. In a digital interview, he claimed he had been "duped" into approving trans-related medical procedures for Wilson at 16, a claim she strongly refutes. "He knew the full side effects.. He was not by any means tricked."

Wilson addressed Musk's accusations that she had been "killed by the woke mind virus" and that she was "not a girl," stating that she felt compelled to speak out. "I think he was under the assumption that I wasn't going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged. Which I'm not going to do because if you're going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I'm not just gonna let that slide."

In a series of posts on the social media app Threads, Wilson emphasized Musk's absence and lack of support. "He doesn't know what I was like as a child because he simply wasn't there," she wrote. "And during the little time that he was, I was relentlessly bullied for my femininity and queerness."

Despite the estrangement from her father, she refuses to let his views define her. "I would like to emphasize one thing: I am an adult. I am 20 years old. I am not a child. My life should be defined by my own choices."
