Chrissy Teigen shared some mom wisdom about the Tooth Fairy on Tuesday, Aug. 6, when Mindy Kaling posted an adorable note from her 6-year-old daughter Kit to the Tooth Fairy on Instagram. Kit's note read, "Dear Tooth Fairy, Please take my tooth!! Love, Kit," dated Aug. 4.
The photo showed Kaling sitting on her daughter's bed, holding the note while Kit wrote her message. In the comments, Teigen humorously advised what to do if the Tooth Fairy "forgets" to visit.
"If you forget, as I often do, there's a sweet letter online explaining how busy she was the night before," Teigen wrote.
Kaling responded, "So many teeth on so many children."
Kaling is mother to son Spencer, 3, and daughters Kit and Anne, whom she quietly welcomed earlier this year.
In June, Kaling announced the birth of her third child, daughter Anne, on Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of Anne with Kit and Spencer, as well as a picture of her baby bump and a hospital snap with her older two children.
"I gave birth to my daughter, Anne, in late February. She's the best birthday present I could've ever imagined," Kaling wrote in the caption. "When things get tough, my three kids remind me of the pure joy in my life. I'm so lucky to live in a place where I could do this on my own timeline. Thanks for all the birthday wishes!"
Since her surprise first pregnancy announcement in 2017, Kaling has been busy raising her children, without revealing the identity of their father.
However, she does have support. In 2021, Kaling told PEOPLE that "it absolutely takes a village" to raise her kids, including help from her nanny, her father Avu, and Reese Witherspoon, whom she praised as "a great source of parenting advice."
