Robert Duvall, the Oscar-winning actor who is known for his roles in The Godfather and Apocalypse Now, has died at 95.

His death, was confirmed in a statement issued by his wife, Luciana, who said he passed away peacefully at home on Sunday evening in Middleburg, Virginia, surrounded by family.

"Yesterday we said goodbye to my beloved husband, cherished friend, and one of the greatest actors of our time," the statement read.

Born Robert Selden Duvall, the actor built a career spanning more than seven decades, earning acclaim for his quiet intensity and naturalistic performances. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for 1983's Tender Mercies and received multiple nominations over the course of his career.

Duvall first gained attention in 1962's To Kill a Mockingbird, delivering a silent yet memorable turn as Boo Radley. He went on to appear in more than 90 films, collaborating with some of Hollywood's most celebrated directors.

Angelina Jolie has revealed plans to leave the United States of America.

The actress has been waiting for her twins, Vivienne and Knox, to reach adulthood before making a long-considered move abroad.

Jolie “never wanted to live in L.A. full-time,” a source previously told People. “She didn’t have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad.”

However, with her twins Vivienne and Knox, the youngest of her six kids, turning 18 on July 12, she can now relocate from the US.

“She’s eyeing several locations abroad,” the insider added. “She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles.”

Jolie’s decision to move abroad is rooted in one priority — her children.

“When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2024.

“I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”

Harry Styles has taken on a major new role in the music world. The global pop star is set to curate the 2026 edition of Meltdown at London’s Southbank Centre, one of the capital’s most respected cultural institutions. In addition to shaping the lineup, Styles will also perform a headline concert during the festival, marking a significant moment both in his career and in the venue’s history.

Meltdown is widely recognized as the world’s longest running artist curated music festival. Each year, a prominent musician is invited to oversee the programming, bringing their own taste, influences, and creative vision to the event. The 2026 edition is particularly special, as it coincides with the 75th anniversary of the Southbank Centre, the famed riverside venue that also serves as the central location for the London Film Festival and hosts major events including the BAFTA Film Awards.

Former Washington standout Tre’ Johnson has died at the age of 54, reportedly passing away suddenly during a family trip on Sunday , February 15.

Johnson, who made his mark as a star player in Washington before moving on to a professional career, was said to have died “suddenly and unexpectedly,” according to statements from those close to the family.

He played for Washington through 2000, spent 2001 with Cleveland and returned to Washington for a final year in 2002. Irene said the athlete was known for his “durability and strength” during his career at Washington.

The 6-foot-2, 328-pound guard was a Pro Bowl selection in 1999.

The Chicago Bears safety and husband to Simone Biles shared a post about a scary moment in the Olympics host city, claiming that he almost had a shopping bag stolen away from him while walking around.

"Not somebody just tried to snatch my shopping bag in Milan, force of habit i had it tied around my hand so he couldn’t get it and took off running immediately….but still crazy," Owens, 30, posted on X on Sunday, Feb. 15.

Several commenters replied, wondering what the potential thief was thinking targeting an NFL player. But Owens said he didn't think the person had actually thought through their plan, and wasn't much of a runner.

Former Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti is going viral after he was spotted sharing a kiss with three women at the same time while enjoying Brazil Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.

The Italian coach, 66, was announced as Brazil’s new manager last summer and he has been preparing for the 2026 World Cup. 

Over the weekend, the Brazilian manager was captured enjoying life in the South American country after being spotted lapping up the festivities during their famous carnival.

Savannah Guthrie has issued a plea for her 84-year-old mother's release two weeks after she disappeared in a suspected kidnapping, telling anyone involved that "it is never too late to do the right thing".

In her latest video appeal, the US TV anchor addresses "whoever has her, or knows where she is" - adding that Nancy Guthrie's loved ones "still have hope".

It comes as investigators analyse DNA found on a glove that they recovered. The glove being studied appears to match one that was worn by a suspect who appeared in doorbell-camera footage taken the night Nancy Guthrie went missing.

Harper Beckham is celebrating the bond she shares with her brothers.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, the 14 year old daughter of Victoria Beckham and David Beckham posted a throwback photo on her private Instagram account in honor of Valentine's Day. The black and white image showed Harper smiling in a swimming pool with her arms wrapped around her eldest brother, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 26. Behind them, Romeo Beckham, 23, and Cruz Beckham, 20, stood close together with their arms around each other.

"I love you all so much words can't describe it," Harper wrote across the image, tagging each of her brothers in the heartfelt message.
